CME is pleased to announce the launch of a new Portal website which will be referred to as CME Connect.   It can be accessed via your internet browser at http://connect.cme.com.  This new site provides added stability over the existing portal, http://portal.cme.com, which is planned to be decommissioned effective Monday, June 18, 2007.   CME Connect is accessible using the same ID and password that is used to access the existing portal site. Both portal.cme.com and http://connect.cme.com have been running parallel in production for a few months and a large number of clearing firm users have been using it for daily clearing processing.

Please note that clearing applications within CME Connect, such as Front End Clearing (FEC) and C21 Positions, have not changed.  They are still accessible using their respective IDs and passwords.
